Nasim Sdn Bhd recently launched the new model of 2013 Peugeot 208 officially with the mission to sell around 200 units monthly. It offers 2 variant which are 3-doors and 5-doors, both at the price of RM95,888.00 and RM85,888.00 respectively.

In term of specification, both Peugeot 208 model comes with 1.6 VTi engine which capable of producing 122PS and 160Nm torque. The engine is well equipped with an adaptive Tiptronic gear with mod Sport function. We’ve tested this car back before and could say that this car has enough power whether at high speed crusing and even for town driving.

Also comes are standard 6-airbag, Electronic Stability Program system, ABS, EBD, EBA, DSC, and ASR. Other safety features such as Hill Start Assist, 2-point ISOFIX at back for child seat and all round one-touch anti-pinch power windows with electric child-safety door locks also equipped. Both varian comes with 5 years unlimited millege warranty.

As for interior side, it comes with a 7 inch infotainment touch screen with HD for drivers to access multiple function which includes entertainment and also car configuration.

There are 6 colors available; Digital White, Platinum Black, Virtual Blue, Rogue Red, and Passion Silver.

Following the latest information on the launching of the 3rd generation of Suzuki Swift, according to the Suzuki dealer, it is said that it will be launched in local market very soon and scheduled to launch on 10th or 12th of January.

The new generation of 2013 Suzuki Swift is said to be powered with 1.4 Litre engine with 94Hp power and 130Nm of torque – which appear to be decrease of engine displacement rather the 1.5 litre offered in previous model.

Surprisingly, the latest Suzuki Swift will be priced around RM77,000 to RM83,000 and available in two variants; S GLX and GLX. More news coming up ahead.

Another spyshot of Proton Preve Hatchback or P3-22A spotted and captured with high resolution camera by readers, Guna. The P3-22A was camouflaged and didn’t reveal anything new rather than the first and 2nd spyhots. Perhaps we only spotted the rear brake lights mounted on rear spoiler.

According to Proton during the Thai and Australian launching of Proton Preve, the Preve Hatchback is expected to make its debut this year. More news coming up soon, stay tune.

The well-known person in automotive industry who lead Kia Motors until this South Korean company able to grow up and produce variety of new line up models with attractive designs, Peter Schreyer recently appointed as the President of Kia Motors.

Peter Schreyer who previously worked as Chief Design Officer for Kia Motors is the first non-Korean individual who held that position thoughout the history of the company. By the President position, Peter is now directly reporting to Vice Charman, Hank Lee and is one among three total of president in Kia Motors.

In past, Peter Schreyer, 59, joined Kia Motors in 2006 from Volkswagen Group and led the branding of Kia with the appearance of ‘Tiger Nose’ design. Some of the models get dramatic touch by Peter Schreyer is the latest generation Sportage, Cee’d, Optima, H7 and Quorio, Picanto and Rio.

After the sneak sighting of the upcoming P3-22A, or better known as Proton Preve hatchback, readers of Paultan captured another shot of the model. This time, we get to see the front and back clearer even masked with camouflage.

It seems that there appear to be changes done to their front grille rather than the Proton Preve sedan. On the other hand, other details that looks like to be put into this new model are xenon headlights and a new design of seven spokes wheel – the wheel in which we sees at the newer model of Proton Inspira.

What more is that, the expected price has also been revealed in which interestingly, the 500cc line up of Honda comes with a good value of price around RM23,000 up until RM27,000 – quite cheaper than the current bargain value of Kawasaki ER6N even with only 100cc less.

As expected, the KTM 390 Duke will however comes at it’s own state of the art personality where price does not count and quality comes first. Year 2012, KTM 200 Duke has been sold with the same features at the price tag of RM18,800. This year, the new KTM 390 Duke will come with same chasis and materials, with addition of engine displacement of 375cc, 45HP and ABS braking system.

The automotive industry is getting hot over here in Malaysia after the first spyshot of P3-22A, which also be known as Preve Hatchback, has been captured at nearly Shah Alam exit.

Thanks to Ramulo who captured this Preve Hatchback picture, we are able to see the new design for Proton Preve. The detail specification has not yet available. Since the buying of Petronas E01 engine last time, our guess is that the new Preve will come with this engine. More spyshots and details of Preve Hatchback to come.

Aston Martin bought for £150 million

Italian private equity group, Investindustrial which also used to own Ducati has becoming majority shareholder in Aston Martin, after the bid ahead of Indian automaker Mahindra.

The deal sees Investindustrial putting £150 million (RM735 million) in Aston Martin in the form of a capital increase for a 37.5% stake in the company.

Currently Aston Martin is owned by Kuwait’s The Investment Dar, and is said planned to invest more than half a billion punds in it’s new product and technology program over the next 5 years.

Production of the cars however remain at Gaydon, Warwickshire, with over 1,600 employees there.
