
The new model from Suzuki unveiled, namely Suzuki Alto, the A-segmented car fully imported CBU unit from Maruti Suzuki in India to Malaysia market. This car will be a great competitor to local unit such Viva and Hyundai i10. Alto is made in concept form in Delhi Motor Show, called A-Star.
Suzuki Alto is powered by 996cc 3-cylinder K10B paired with 5-speed manual or 4 speed automatic transmission engine which able to push on 67 bhp and 90 Nm or torque. Suzuki Alto is using MacPherson struts with 3 link rigid axle at back, front ventilated disk brakes and rear drums. It’s a four seated car with only 2 sets of seat belts at back, rear self winding windows and wing windows manual.
There are 3-variants available for this model, which is GA manual (basic), GLX Automatic, and GXS. The GA manual is currently selling at RM44,888 on the road excluding insurance with rear bench folder, dual airbags and pollen filter, while the GLX Automatic have additional fog lamps, wing mirror caps colored, tachometer, front power windows, 50:50 rear folding split at rear seat and ABS/EBD, which cost for RM49,888. The GXS one is provided with windows tint add on, leather seats, door visors, and bodykits at the price of RM54,888.
