MINI Cooper introduced their new MINI Cooper S upgraded with new N14b16 engine, which able to produce 184 horsepower at 5,500 RPM. This is an addition of 9 horsepower from the default original engine of the previous Cooper S unveiled launched in Malaysia.
Not just the extra horsepower, the car is now equipped with Valvetronic. Direct injection offered for turbocharged model while aspirated version features Valvetronic. The car is expected to consume less fuel during mixed mode driving, as the use of CO2 emmision dropped. The torque is still equal to the previous one with 240Nm and short 20Nm overboost to 260Nm upon needed.
