We’ve seen so many four doors coupe these days and that is absolutely not a new concept, with cars such Mercedes Benz CLS CC and Volkswagen sedans promoting the style, Audi A7 with their final development stages, and the more up high end sedan Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera which attracted our vision in few back months. Now, BMW is jumping into this section with the introduction of their officially launched Gran Coupe concept at the Beijing Motor Auto Show this year.
BMW Gran Coupe is very closely to be look on the next generation of 6 series, with the rear strip doors, flatbed design, and it is also made from 100 mm thinner that the previous 5 and 7 series sedans, combined with frameless doors and LED lights around.
This is a new entry of BWM into four dour coupe niche market, and we are pretty sure that this production will hit the road in next two years. Further reading at Automagazined for upcoming news and more photos.
