
Mitsubishi has been introduces a new variant of Mitsubishi’s L200 pickup truck with an extended bed and increased power in the UK. The mosy prominent feature of the L200 Long Bed that it comes alongside existing L200 Standard Bed variants is of course its longer bed that has been extended by 18cm or 7 inches in overall length, but it not affecting the passenger cabin space. In addition, the cargo area is also higher and squarer at the rear, increasing carrying volume. The variants of this L200 are available in Double Cab 4Work, 4Life and high-series Warrior and Animal variants, and also comes with more powerful engine version of the firm’s 2.5-liter turbo diesel engine that produces 176HP, up from 134HP in the L200 Warrior and 166HP in the L200 Animal.
For the Long Bed body style, the buyers will pay a £750 (excluding VAT) premium over the Standard Bed equivalent while buyers that choose the Long Bed Warrior derivatives that feature an additional 42HP of power, will pay an extra £250 (excluding VAT).
