Kia Forte LPI Hybrid, The First Kia Hybrid Car

The Kia World has revealed details of their first mild hybrid, Forte Sedan. The car will be powered by Liquefied Petroleum Injected engine that capable to give 114 horsepower and the electric motor that creates another extra 20 horsepower. The fuel efficiency of Kia Forte Hybrid is estimated at 21.5 km/liter.

The lithium polymer batteries for the new hybrid will be supplied by LG Chem of Korea, featured the lighter, smaller, and higher energy output than nickel-metal hydride one used in Toyota Prius and Honda Insight. Few styling changes done including the new front and rear bumpers with LED tail lights. Navigation system for hybrid data and Super Vision Instument Cluster also included.
